Alan Friedkin grew up in Youngstown and began in real estate by working in his father’s real estate company. His family owned and managed residential and commercial properties for over 40 years. After his father’s death, Alan decided to move on from residential properties and concentrate on commercial real estate. He sold the residential properties through his use of land contracts and purchase money mortgages that led him to establish Friedkin Realty LLC, a commercial real estate services company. Over the last 30 years, Alan has developed, leased, managed and sold hundreds of thousands of square feet of real estate and brokered the sale of hundreds of businesses in the Mahoning Valley and other areas in Northeastern Ohio.

Jonathan Italiano was born in Youngstown and currently lives in Boardman. He’s an alumnus of Cardinal Mooney High School and Youngstown State University. After college, he worked for a local technology/software company and realized he had the motivation to be more independent. which is found in any successful real estate agent. Prior to joining Burgan Friedkin, he worked in sales at Andrew’s Cycles (formerly in Salem), as well as Newport Motor Sales.”

Marchionda’s passion for Real Estate is rooted in his grandfather and father’s building, property management, and development expertise and their history of success in The Valley over the last 40 years. He first obtained his real estate license in 2018 and joins the team after working in commercial real estate for the last three years. A native of Poland, Ohio, Marchionda holds dual master’s degrees from The Ohio State University in City & Regional Planning and Public Affairs, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from John Carroll University. He currently leads External Affairs and Strategic Initiatives for Youngstown State University’s Division of Workforce Innovation and Education.
